My husband and I wrote this book based on our family's St Patrick's Day traditions. Our house has been plagued by a leprechaun just about every March and our youngsters have awesome enjoyable attempting new and several strategies to catch him. Of course they by no means do! We hope this story inspires other youngsters to make clever traps for the leprechauns who pay a visit to them on St Patrick's Day, and that the book brings lots of entertaining to all.

The topic of this book is a stuffed leprechaun who "comes to life" at night and creates messes. This is a excellent way for me as a teacher to spot my beanie Lucky the Leprechaun on my desk...and then build messes just about every day. The children already have to make a trap...and Lucky is the star of the video I build each and every year...but now they know why he looks like a doll Excellent!
